It wasn't very easy to get the key into the part that holds it and I had to take it apart to try and get it in better. After installation it worked great! Replacing the key fob at a dealer will cost over $300. It costs pennies on the dollar and works great. I bought two of these as both of my original keychains broke. The second is still wrong and works inconsistently. But the key is usable now and before I bought it it was unusable. The original key fob was so broken that the key could no longer be used.
