This cosmetic circle is ideal for creating a black eye and other bruises and scratches. It was easy to apply and blended well. Although this is an oily makeup, it definitely doesn't feel *greasy* on your skin! (I used to work at a Halloween store where we used these really cheap, oily "cream" makeups that didn't blend very well, so I wasn't sure at first.) Nye Bruise Wheel, that has a complementary color (looks like dark blue), but costs more than twice as much. I felt it worked really well and was really great quality and didn't have to shell out an extra $20 to get it. I would recommend using a setting powder and spray so the effects don't run or smudge when you touch them. The makeup faded a bit towards the end of the day but I also spent most of the day outside in 30 degree weather so I was surprised it lasted so long! I would use this brand's FX makeup circles again!
