It works. It would be more convenient to hold it on the cord with a strap when not in use.
Exactly as described on the Hidden Wired Micro USB to USB Cable for my Samsung phone. Although I don't know if you can be sure that this is a genuine OEM part. It comes in a tiny unmarked plastic bag and I don't think the brand is printed on it anywhere. The rest works fine. But next time I'll buy one with a plug so I can plug it into the charging cable so it doesn't get lost when I need the micro USB plug to charge my spare battery.
