I needed to repair my floor poufs which are made out of quite a thick material (I believe they are recycled saris that have been turned and sewn onto a different thick fabric). The seams have ripped open from constant use. I used a 4 inch curved needle with a strong thread and it worked well and I was able to mend the broken stitches. Sometimes I had to press the needle pretty hard. to get it through thicker fabric and the needle did a great job with that. Great little kit.
