Perfumed for use in my home as a cheap dehumidifier because I love the smell of lavender oil. It smells like bathroom or garage air freshener, so I don't recommend it for your home (unless that's something you're into). That's the only reason I deducted a star. A few more tips: You'll start leaking if you trap a lot of moisture and don't check them often enough because they work so well. So I suggest putting them on a rimmed plate or something, just in case. Reviewers of various humidifiers complain that they leak salt water and ruin their stuff, but if you check them often enough and take basic precautions, this won't happen. Just in case, you can keep it away from furniture or clothes that might bother you if they go bad.
