Any existing fan will run backwards with these connectors unless you intentionally wire them in reverse (black to positive and red to negative). You leave yourself open to replacing something thinking it's plug and play when you're actually burning the part or it won't work properly. It is not worth. Female pins can be removed and swapped out quite easily, but male ends can't, and after spending an hour looking for a removal tool to fix a connector, he gave up. It is not worth. Shame as the quality seems ok and if the wiring were up to standard it would be of great value. Instead, they return. I'm glad I checked before I started installing new fans on my 3D printer. Thank goodness Revain handles returns very well. XIGYHENG must warn consumers and allow the end user to decide whether they are willing to use non-compliant connectors before purchasing.
