These shoes are soft and flexible. So they allow my one and a half year old to move freely and not trip like in shoes made of more durable materials. Many reviewers said the shoe runs small. The pair I bought did not. If you compare them to Nike, they run a bit bigger. The same happens with sketch sizes and striderites. I have uploaded a photo of a size 5 sandal that I bought with another brand with a size 4 on one side and a size 5 on the other. You can see in comparison they weren't small. I will be ordering more of this brand as it outgrows this pair. The tweeter works well and I have no complaints about the finish.
