Read reviews before buying. First, the mask itself is a flimsy mesh that is completely useless on its own. The charcoal filter doesn't align properly, but sits where it should be once it's snapped into place. The vents really defeat the purpose of the mask at this point. In fact, you are breathing unfiltered air. The profile of the mask is not pleasing at all, you look like you have a beak on your face. Maybe a little cutting and re-sewing would help, but you're not buying finished pieces to make alterations to. The ear loops help more than the velcro, since the velcro is at the base of the skull it actually pushes the mask down. But at least it makes you feel comfortable.
