After giving my wife my old pair of Apple Air Pods, I decided to get her a new set of headphones instead. I only ever use it while I'm outside. In particular: - attend to phone calls while out for a run or stroll - enjoy musical accompaniment I opted for these cans instead of brand-new Air Pods because (a) I didn't want to spend more than $9,000; and (b) this model has received many positive ratings. On 06/10/2022, after applying all discounts and points, I was able to get these headphones from AliExpress for around $6500. The headphones were a bust for me because they often cut out when I needed them to work. More information will be provided later. Assembled test bench:) - iPhone 12. Scenario 1: An incoming call is received when the phone is in the rear pocket of a pair of pants. My partner cannot hear me very well. There's a flood of sound between my right and left earbuds. When I take my phone out of my pocket and hold it in my hand, I know that I am not in any danger. Second scenario: I'm listening to music or podcasts on Apple Music or Music while tucking my phone inside the inside pocket of a lightweight windbreaker. As soon as I look to my right (!) the music stops and the sound crackles. When I realign my ears, the noise disappears. Third possibility: the waist-mounted jogging pack conceals the phone. The difficulty of repositioning the head is raised once more. It's possible the issue lies with the phone itself, but AirPods have never given me any trouble. Upgraded the Samsung Wearable's firmware to the latest version and installed it. Call quality appears to have improved marginally. However, the alternatives are just as awful. I didn't enable touch screen navigation. Have attempted the default. You just need to adjust to it. This is something new for me. On the nth try, my touches were successful. In addition, there are some false positives in this process of harvesting the beans. AliExpress did not issue a refund for the headphones even though it had been less than 14 days since purchase. Who knows, maybe they're right. Today (06/23/2022), I gave the headphones to their service to check out.
