Review on πŸͺ’ OneBlade CORE Single-Blade Safety Razor: Master the Art of Shaving with Well-Balanced Design, 10 Feather Blades & Stand Included – Tritan & Stainless Steel Construction for the Ultimate Shaving Experience by Chris Young

Another disappointing wet shave.

I witnessed the wet shaving revolution many years ago but was never satisfied with the results. I have a thick beard and razors don't cut me close enough. My Shavetta always did her job. Anyway, I decided to give this product a try as it looked like a nice design. And it's a beautiful design. I love the feel of the razor and the stand is very simple and looks cool. But performance is not for me. I did two WTG passages and three ATG passages and still had pretty thick stubble, especially in the corners. my face and the curve of my lips. This razor just doesn't get in there like Shavette. I had to go back and wash the razor off with a disposable tissue. as always. I know most wet shaving enthusiasts say not to press on the blade, but I need a little pressure to snip close to my face. I'll say this razor is pretty good for an ATG straight razor shave, but it's not that good. I think having multiple blades in a fixed position just beats a straight razor if you have a thick, bushy beard. A wet shave might work for a weak beard, but not for me. I also got a star for brand name blades. I would happily keep this razor if it was designed to work with other razors but the ones that came with it don't work so I'll be returning it.
