I really love this product because it gives my very large, very long haired dog full coverage and stayed completely dry during the last couple of showers. The detachable hood is great, as is the fact that all coats attach with velcro! Almost everything about this coat is thought through to the smallest detail, with two exceptions that almost made me return the coat. (Because I liked it so much I decided to fix these issues myself, which was very easy, just not sure why these two bugs exist.) 1) There is no hole on the bottom of the raincoat so had to I cut one out for my dog to pee! It is very strange for a dog hair designer not to consider this important feature. 2) The legs have elastic around the hem which means you have to strain to get your dog's paws through the holes. It would be a lot easier if the leg opening was clear because then those giant paws could slip through. An elastic hem makes no sense as it's hard to imagine a dog walking deep enough in the water to reach the edge. The easy fix was to cut the elastic, which only cost me about a quarter inch of leg length.
