The ProGlide isn't much better than the Fusion 5, so don't waste your money on it. Details: Like many men, I've always wanted the closest possible shave. I don't have a shaggy face, even though my girlfriend thinks it's sexy. I only feel clean when I'm clean-shaven. However, this creates its own problems. The closer you shave and the more you shave, the rougher your beard will get and over the years you will need more and better razors. Even as shaving technology advances and you try new generation products, you can never go back to what you had before. They start with one blade, then two, three, five, then vibrating blades like the Fusion 5. Now, despite the cost of the blades, I can't live without them. But for now it gives me the best shave and I will stick with it until something else comes up. And it's something else, not ProGlide, that doesn't provide the next improvement I'll need in, say, 5 years. Blades are supposed to last 30 days, but I find myself putting new ones in every 21 days. .
