As a result of using this product, I found that it was very slow to charge my iPhone and often disconnected randomly, making it nearly impossible to use while plugged in. The only positive is that it is long enough to reach my bed from the outlet. However, the metal connector is poorly made and frequently falls apart. It's a waste of money and I would not recommend it to anyone. Computers deserve better than this cheap and useless cable.
