Founded by esthetician Deb Nash, Higher Education is dedicated to skincare for women in their 20s, which admittedly at 45 I'm absolutely sure no, and me didn't know about the focus until I ordered this and started doing some research on the company. The company focuses on pure beauty and the website has an online skin analysis tool that allows you to choose the products that work best for your skin type. It is a blend of AHA/BHA chemical peel and physical fine-grain sugar. An exfoliant that helps remove dry, dead cells for smoother, more radiant skin. It is recommended to use this several times a week. I really like chemical peels as I think they are gentler on aging skin like mine, but this sugary peel, while not very harsh, still seems to me to be too strong in combination and makes my skin red . I use it again on my face but it works great on elbows, knees and other rough areas where you are advised to leave it on for five minutes to get the full effect. It was packaged in a box and contained a sample of her daily facial cleanser. I've tried a few other products from this line and while not attending their targeted demo I've been impressed so far, but this one just isn't for me.
