I installed this system as an upgrade to my old analogue camera system. This system was very easy to install as I already had the cables from my old system. Running these new lines as a clean install would be pretty easy if I didn't have them. Connecting the cameras was very easy, plug and play. The only downside I saw with the cameras was the lack of portability (the ability to rotate and adjust them to the exact position I needed). However, I was able to move it. The DVR is very easy to install and configure. The installation wizard guided you through simple steps. The image from these cameras is crystal clear day and night. I left my two old 720tlr connected and they were compatible with this DVD (however the new cameras didn't work on my old system). The comparison is incredible. These new cameras have a very bright image during the day. The night vision of these cameras is excellent. They produce very sharp black and white images and even reproduce facial detail where my old cameras made our face white. (Someone hacked into one of my work machines. With the old system, you could see the person, etc. However, if you zoomed in on his face, we couldn't see his face.) With these new cameras, sharper images at night retaliate huh in low light or in the absence of stunning clarity. The app on my phone is very easy to use and very user friendly. If you follow the steps in the guide, you should be able to connect to the internet without any problems (assuming you have internet access). For the price, this system is a must have. I will be purchasing two additional systems to install at my mother's and wife's house. I RECOMMEND THIS SYSTEM! I have a video but I can't upload it, once I figure it out I will upload it.
