Review on Eco Dent Daily Baking Toothpowder Lemon Lime: Refreshing Dental Care for a Greener Tomorrow by Weston Metzger

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I've been using this for over 2 years.

After reading that fluoride toothpaste is bad and that I've had tooth decay (even on some fillings) over the past few years despite developing good oral hygiene, I decided it was time to try something new. Overall the reviews seem to say that Eco-Dent toothpowder is good so I've been using it for two days and it definitely has a different but natural taste compared to toothpaste. I've never really liked toothpaste. And the reason is that I hate the smell of mint with a passion. I really enjoyed the lemon lime flavor. It doesn't taste bad at all. I can get used to it very easily. [Update (5-3-2012)]: I brushed my teeth in April and I'm not sure what this toothpowder did, but it didn't improve or it seems to have made my oral hygiene worse, so it's hard to to say. I asked my dental hygienist if my teeth and gums had changed before telling her I stopped using fluoride toothpaste. And it turns out to be about the same. Also, she thinks fluoride isn't that bad (not surprised). She asked about the ingredients in the tooth powder as she had never heard of it. In the end, she couldn't convince me to stop or continue using fluoridated toothpaste. So I'll wait until the next brushing to see. But in the meantime, I was able to keep using this tooth powder and fluoride-free toothpaste for bleeding gums and tooth decay. dentifrice. A week ago I went to a new dentist for a dental exam (since I haven't been to a dentist in 1 year) and she said my teeth are healthy. No signs of tooth decay or any "clock" (tooth to watch)! Such a sigh of relief! This is likely due to a combination of prayers, a healthy diet, a different toothbrush (with stiff, stiff bristles), and an oil swipe. You have no idea how grateful I am! 2 people I know used it once and didn't like it. They prefer to use toothpaste. They felt that the tooth powder was not cleaning their teeth properly. It's probably because it doesn't contain mint, and it could be a psychological thing, because I think toothpaste gives the illusion of cleanliness in your mouth due to the blisters that form and the overwhelming sensation of mint (or a mixture of weird ones). Ingredients).
