I bought this cable to connect my headphones to a 20w amp so I can play my guitar without disturbing others. It works, but not particularly well. The headphones are a pair of Sony WH-1000X M3s, my favorite pair, and the 3.5mm jack just doesn't fit the port on the headphones. I often lose sound in one ear when turning my head while playing because the cable comes loose at the connector, the cable is too heavy, and the socket is the wrong shape. I can help him with proper cable management, but I don't have to. It's the perfect cable for fixed installations, but for something mobile it's quite poor quality, I just had to use a simple 6.35mm male to 3.5mm jack adapter with a 3.5mm main accessory cable.
