UPDATE 6/15/2016 I have had these towels for about 4 months now. I changed my rating from five. Up to two. Used gently and washed as needed. As I have never had this problem with other towels and I know how to wash them. I'm not sure why these started falling apart. It's terrible. I'm also a bit sad because these are my favorite towels. For the price I'm really shocked. I love these towels. You are so fat! They're heavy too, but in a good way. The absorbency of these towels is excellent. They felt dry after using them to dry off after a shower. I recommend people to wash them two or three times before even using them. Egyptian cotton lints like crazy during the first few wash and dry cycles. To keep lint out of you and your bathroom, simply toss it in the washer and dryer, repeat 2 or 3 times in a row. They are usually at their softest after about the tenth wash, although they are excellent after the first wash. The company also sends out a thank you card with a personal signature, which is nice because it makes you feel valued.
