I really wanted to like this. The concept is AMAZING and if it was made for teens or adults it would be perfect. I gifted it to my 9 year old who thought he could do it all himself. It bent/cracked a few pieces rendering many builds completely unusable. All parts are made of cardboard, but without accessories. I think he managed to get just one to work exactly as it should. He spent hours building it, which was great, but because of these issues, he only played a few minutes with his real creations. He didn't pick it up after the first weekend and it ended up in the trash. Looking back, even the oldest child has to oversee the making of creations. And as a parent, you should expect each project (there are 5) to take at least 2 or 3 hours.
