Short and quick: Very poor product, except for those who want to exchange it after 2 years max anyway. Reason: The inner coating then dissolves and I rarely used the bag and did not expose it to any particular stress. Haven't used it yet, it's in my apartment! Damage is not mechanical wear, the coating ages very quickly. During this process, the product gradually loses its protection against the ingress of rain inside and, in my opinion, even worse: the coating inside is constantly crumbling. Since Eastpak offers a 'Standard' 30 year guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship, I contacted them. The defect was presented to me as normal wear and tear only covered by the 2 year warranty. So this "self-destruction" of the product is probably not a material defect, but intentional!? Maybe they want to sell the buyer another one as soon as possible ;-). Either way, Eastpak is dead to me as a brand.
