I have neck problems and thought I would be stuck with laptops forever. I can no longer use my desktop with an external monitor as most monitors are too tall on the stand they are on. I have an old Acer 15 inch LCD monitor but it is too tall with the factory monitor stand. Until recently, I wasn't even aware of aftermarket monitor stands that mimic a factory stand. I've seen THIS particular stand can be as low as you. That's exactly what I wanted. He came yesterday. Once configured it does exactly what I want it to do. I was able to place the monitor very low on the desktop. trembled when I typed on the keyboard - apparently it's very sensitive to vibration on the table. But I found a solution. I found a very small box and placed the bottom of the monitor on it. This fixed the vibration issue. .So yes, I would buy this stand again. Great price and it does exactly what I wanted. My desk faces a window so I really didn't want to buy one of those long adjustable arms that can hold a monitor that replaces the factory monitor stand and still looks like a factory stand.
