Ever since we got a dog, I've been afraid to go to my parents' parties. She barked and growled at EVERYONE who approached us. She has separation anxiety so she will howl and squeak if placed in a kennel in another room. We worked on her separation anxiety but decided to try it at the Super Bowl party to see if it would make a difference. IT DID. In the morning we put the disc on her collar (which doesn't smell that bad, it looks a bit like a lavender-scented candle) and showed up to the party in the afternoon. Although our dog barked a few times (because she's still a dog), friends and family were able to talk to us and even pet her without her growling or clicking. I am VERY happy with this product and will continue to use it. It is currently in ziploc packaging until needed again! This might be in addition to her separation anxiety training, but we'll see.
