I really wanted to enjoy this product but it is too cheaply made. Within three days I encountered the following issues that forced me to return the product: 1. Branded/mysterious power cord/brick - I found the cord that came with it to be too short and stiff, however I was unable to turn the unit on (no light , no wireless charging, no power LED, nothing) with ANY combination of my own USB adapters/cables with the same or better output specifications.2. The little egg highlight is almost cool but really annoying and by far the worst feature. How do you explain. So there's a tiny button on the bottom of the egg that turns it on and off, but it also has some kind of touch sensor that's used to cycle through multiple colors. No fading or fluid transitions between colors or fancy effects, just one solid color at a time - and to change the color you need to lightly tap almost anywhere on the device. Trouble is, he's too damn sensitive! The light changes color, turning off or on with the slightest impact or pressure. Putting a glass of water on the bedside table calls him, everything calls him. It's cool, but more annoying than anything else.3. Why not fold it in half or something to make it portable/customizable? It was meant to be, but then someone decided to save pennies and just ship it in a stupid triangular box that takes up 5 times the space it should. It would be so easy to put everything together.4. It's too light and slides on the countertop too easily. Almost comfortable, cool and unique product, but it is missing. If the quality and design could be improved a bit more, I'd be happy to spend a few bucks more.
