Judging by the picture, I expected a yellowish line. Actually it is olive green. There is a slight but noticeable odor that I can't pinpoint. Leaves skin clean and fresh with no residue. If you're looking for a slight lotion aftertaste, this soap doesn't seem to have it. The pole is thick, heavy and durable. The foam can be a bit slippery underfoot. I have several liquid and bar soaps in the shower and choose what works at the moment. It's good that he's in rotation. would recommend.
