I've had them for 10 years and use them occasionally so they last a long time. Good comfort for water shoes. Light enough until you get wet. They dry well but take about a day to dry. Sand and gravel will intrude, but nothing serious. The grip is good enough not to break my neck while running over sunken boulders in Zion Narrows National Park recently.
