This privacy filter is great for catching a glimpse in the office or when people are hanging around your desk while you're still trying to get work done. I bought it because a colleague has a lot of experience with it. It successfully blocks the view from both sides, so someone has to really try to see and see what you're doing. However, I have to add that I don't like it because I have a curved monitor, and the filter isn't fully attached to my monitor. Sometimes it pops out, creating a double-image effect that can really gouge the eyes. It's annoying that I have to keep moving it away, but it doesn't even do all that. For nearly $200, I expect it to be a better match for my monitor. It does the job perfectly and I'm sure if you don't have a curved monitor it will work great for you.
