As a tall, pear-shaped woman, I rely heavily on reviews, especially reviews with photos of girls with a similar figure to mine. But if it helps some of you, here are my measurements. Height: 5'4", bust 47", natural waist 43", and the widest part around my hips 58". And this 2x suits me perfectly. Minus a small gap around the shoulders, but I have a short torso and have to constantly adjust the straps. The fabric is very soft and comfortable and I am definitely happy with this dress.
