As with some other Ayurvedic products, the ingredients and scent of this balm are very unique. At first I thought I would smell like toast when I applied this balm because it contained ghee. I figured I might not like it, but I tried adding a few drops of my favorite essential oil and it worked. I began to really enjoy the scent of the balm and essential oil and as I continued to use it I became truly addicted to the original warm gentle natural scent of this balm. It relaxes me and lifts my spirits. I really enjoy using it every morning and evening now. While it might seem a little too earthy at first, I highly recommend you give it a try. I love lotions and soaps and have used so many different products but have not used any other body lotion since I found this balm. This is a love story!
