I had two of these towels, I've been using them every day for four years now because they are easy to hang on a hook, dry very quickly and they don't just come off" Stale" to come out. My first was exposed to everything not to do with a microfiber towel: I washed it in the washing machine with regular detergent, dried it in a heated dryer and removed stains by wiping it on the bodice rug. The only thing I didn't do with this towel was freeze it wet. After about a year I've noticed that it doesn't absorb water as well as it used to, but is otherwise still usable. I bought a second one, decided to ditch the hair dryer (I let it air dry instead), but otherwise continued my behavior. The second lasted three years.
