I tried the LM1-C lavalier microphone with two devices: a Samsung Galaxy 9 phone and a Windows 10 desktop computer. The phone used one Standard USB-C connector and for computer use I added the included USB-C to USB converter. Both devices recognized the microphone and installed/gained access without further action. I have continued to use it in the following ways: - Phone: I used the microphone to record directly into the voice memo app and it picked up the voice clearly. I used an app that can convert speech to text and recognized all the words clearly. Computer: I used a microphone to record speech in an audio recording app. The voice was clearly chosen and recorded. The level appeared to be normal. Overall, the mic was as easy to use as one would expect, and picked up speech clearly and consistently. The packaging was good, the instructions are clear, although everyone seems to make printed instructions that require a microscope to read! The only thing I can recommend about the product is that the cord is too long for my use, but other people might find it perfect for their needs. A low-frequency hum can be heard in the background, which can improve the quality of the recording, but also seems to lower the level a bit.
