We have a two-year-old black cat who has nowhere to hide. She likes to be sheltered and indoors and when there is nothing else she will use the litter box and just sit there. I saw this and thought he was cute and small enough to give her a safe area in the corner of our dining room where we feed our kittens. Unfortunately, the ground is not firm and I often found the house tipping over. I cut out a sturdy piece of cardboard for the bottom and it worked for a while, but soon it just kept flipping. I think our kitty will be sitting against the back wall and her weight will cause the walls to sag. I think this would probably be more practical for a young cat, kitten, or kitten under 10 pounds. We ended up buying a "needle" that works better and is much stronger.
