Thin and not as absorbent

I thought it would be more absorbent than other burp cloths as it is made of flannel and not thin cotton jersey. It is not so. They are fine for very small burps but definitely won't hold up to large ones and cannot be used for more than one small burp before soaking. I used cloth diapers for my burp cloths and they just sit in the trash can.
