I bought this product because while my beard is mostly straight, the hair itself is a bit wavy and likes to go crazy sometimes. All I have to do is turn on this device, leave it on for about 3 minutes, run it over my beard and sideburns a few times, and then boom, light fluffy beard. This facilitates weaving, beading and easy wearing. It softens my beard because it smooths and combs my hair. I would recommend this to anyone even if you are like me and already have a pretty straight beard.
