I needed light for my sketchbook, which brought me here. And I have to say that I fell in love the moment I took it out of the box and turned on the light. Of course it's Micro USB instead of USBC which really sucks And it's an ugly looking cheap plastic with thick gaps And the flex cable is pretty short But that's exactly what I wanted. It has three levels of brightness, but realistically the lowest is more than bright enough. If you have a partner, well, they have to tuck their heads under the sheets because that's not tactful at all, but for a bachelor like me, that's rejoicing. (Although now that I think about it, that intense light will likely make you squint when you wake up. We'll see what happens.) There's also a blue mode, a brown mode, and a mode that's more like that what natural sunlight looks like. Don't imagine ever using blue or brown, but it's always better to have more choices. Excellent purchase; That's exactly what I wanted. I can't say how long the battery lasts yet. I might update that rate in a few months, but what, $10, it's not like you're breaking the bank if you need a new one. Satisfied customer.
