This is my second Skagen watch and so far it has exceeded my expectations. The Karolina has a large face and whether you're making a fashion statement or just struggling to read a smaller watch, this one hits the mark. It's simple and attractive, with big branding to show in any light, and while it looks pretty big on my small wrist, its simple design doesn't make it overbearing. The dial is actually quite thin, so unlike some large watches, it feels quite small on my wrist due to its size. I find it goes well with most of my everyday outfits and that's when I'm usually attracted to it. They're tough enough to withstand rain, and the strap and glass seem pretty scratch-resistant, so you can wear them for outdoor activities. I have a few dressier watches that I prefer when I'm getting dressed, but I don't hesitate to wear them with dressier clothes in a pinch. In addition to the dial, the bracelet and dial are in an unusual rose gold tone. Trust me, no one will ever confuse this with rose gold. It's a unique color that reminds me of those Susan B. Anthony titanium dollar coins a while back. However, it is not an unattractive color - simply unique. The band is easy to adjust and the mesh metal band is definitely flexible enough to feel soft and comfortable on the wrist. It easily fits the wrist of almost every woman, from small to huge. Unlike some other watches of this style, the clasp seems to hold up well and I have yet to accidentally release it at the wrong time. And yes, they tell the time well, which is to be expected from any modern watch. All in all, this Skagen Karolina is a good watch at a fair price. If you like the style, this is definitely worth trying.
