Practical tool for my serger. The pad on the bottom fitted well, I didn't even think about the vibration noise from my car as I've only used it with this mat so far. The collection bag works so well that I don't have to think about it, and it's also a great place to toss thread scraps when I'm finishing my clothes. My only complaint, like many others, is that the bag is only held in place by the tension of the clear elastic around the opening. A slight tug is enough to loosen it. I minimized this by putting a rubber band around the hole in the plastic base and then putting my bag over it. helps.
