Yes, they run big, so better order one size smaller.The bottom sole is rubber to keep it in place when you walk.The upper of the shoe has an elastic band that helps keep the ballet flat.Jewelry is firmly fixed and has no sharp edges.They are so festive and look really expensive they sparkle beautifully I chose to buy online because they are beautiful and great value I'm sure I would have to drive everywhere to find these shoes and who knows if i will find them.it was so comfortable.i love shoes.
