Review on DREAMSTITCH Presser Brother Babylock Simplicity by Angela Rodriguez

I was hoping that this foot would replace my walking foot when sewing soft fabrics so that I could switch to other presser feet more quickly. Unfortunately there is no comparison for thicker fabrics which each kind of stretch, to the walking foot.Unless you're pinning like crazy and using a sewable tack spray on each layer, it's a chore and requires more work later and potentially damage to some fabrics.One of the first things I noticed is when i installed them on my brother sewing machine the front large roller was blocking the view of the stitch (see photo) i prefer an open view like my other sewing feet so i can see everything with each stitch from start to finish to the end The top layer is pushed out of line with the bottom one ayer causes a shift It "walks" or moves ni cht like a running paw to prevent this. This presser foot will likely work for multiple layers of thick, non-stretch cotton fabrics, but unfortunately it doesn't quite match the walking foot. for multiple layers and thicker fabrics. I would consider keeping it as it might be needed for other projects in the future but with the front roller blocking your view so much I just couldn't bring myself to stand it or like it. I really tried but it annoyed me so I had to send it back. If they had engineered it to have 4 separate clear view rollers like the Viking roller foot that Dreamstitch makes, I would rather keep it. I'll use the barrel attachment I already have.
