Excellent for preventing thread unwinding and tangling.
I love these spool holders for all my threads but especially for embroidery threads. They keep thread from unraveling all over the box or drawer I keep my threads in so I don't waste thread trying to untangle it before I start sewing. They don't stretch, they hold the tread tight but not enough to leave marks on the spool of thread. They are the perfect solution to the problem every sewer has and I highly recommend them.
