I love this little drain grate! We have a big family and a lot of hair lol. The drains we used (we tried a few) didn't really solve the clogging problem - about every 6-8 weeks we had to pull out the drain knot to remove the hairballs. After using this drainage fabric, this is not the case. We've been using it for six months now and the drain has never clogged! Hooray! A note: this screen is a little light, and since many children don't always pay attention to such things, we drilled a hole in the center, inserted a 2-inch stainless steel bolt, and threaded three heavy-duty nuts onto the stud. which give it a good weight. This helped hold the strainer in place very well so it would catch all the HAIR. This was a great little solution to our sewage problems! Different sizes are available so be sure to measure the drain hole to ensure a correct fit.
