I need this for a 10 inch tablet on a bike. After receiving it I can say it is well built with added strength at the bar clamp and tablet clamp. What they don't really mention is that the tablet clip is spring-loaded and has more than enough grip to hold the tablet in place for an exercise bike. But I'm not sure that would be enough for an outdoor bike; probably a street bike, but not off-road. All four sides must be held in place for off-road driving. Otherwise I'm very happy with it and think it will last a long time. The only weak point is most likely the ball joint. The ball joint is plastic on plastic which we all know won't last forever as the plastic will come loose and break. Well, we'll see, but most likely it will go away in a few years. This is not a big problem for the price range. The instructions for assembling the ball joint weren't clear enough either - you actually have to force the ball into the threaded nipple assembly to allow the assembly to expand a bit, then tighten the nut. It's a little different than any other manufacturer.
