There is nothing special about this third-party Wii Remote from iMW. It comes securely with the standard Wii wristband, requires the installation of 2 AA batteries (not included) and pairs for us on about the third try. Once paired with the Wii device, it worked flawlessly. It differs slightly from a typical remote control, as there's a slightly uneven ridge around the edge, and all the buttons on the top are diamond-shaped rather than the typical circles and plus shape. Whether that's good or not depends on personal preference. iMW doesn't seem to be selling the protective silicone case you're used to with these remotes, and a remote with no batteries, no rubber case, and no nunchuk for $20. I'm not sure what the point is. There's a Mribo remote and case for $16.24, an EEEkit package with two remotes and two nunchuks for $32, and so on. doc, that's a reasonable option. 3.5 stars.
