very thick and comfy on the knees
plenty thick and comfy but not as large as I had envisioned when reading the description. I move around alot when working on the lower parts of my truck and usually wind up crawling off the pad. An added bonus is its sturdy enough to use as a prop to help me stand up which I usually need. but I"ll still be looking around for a larger one probably about 30 x 18.
