I had an old gold Revlon eyelash curler and they were great. it kept the lashes curled, worked like a charm. did not pinch or pull on the eyelashes or the skin. I lost my gold so I decided to buy it back. As soon as I saw it in the box in person I thought it looked weird. Eventually I opened it up and tried it. but it's very different. it's cheaper, it's weak, it doesn't work and it tugs on my eyelids. it's different all together, the gold color isn't even the same. I would pay double if they brought back the old version of it. now i am looking for a good one and would like to find my old revlon which i have had for years with no problems
