Works well. I used cheap dollar cans from the store to test this. You can set how often it should be triggered. My husband says it sounds like the house is sneezing, it's quite noisy. I set it to hourly throughout the day. The bottle lasted me almost a month which is very good. I pulled mine up. In general, it looks good and does not irritate the eyes. When inserting the glass, make sure the plastic piece is fully seated so the glass doesn't get in the way entirely.
