I bought this to replace the Brother toner in my 5520. It was fine the first few times I used it, but then I noticed that the surface sides are a little rough when they come out of the printer. It turned out that this was due to the toner not fully fusing with the page. I found this out when I scanned the documents to someone else and when they came out of the scanner the ink smeared across the page. The print literally peeled off the paper leaving what appeared to be tire tracks on the pages. So I decided to replace the toner cartridge with one I had on hand (different brand). Then I saw the TONER WAS ALL IN MY PRINTER! This isn't the first time I've used regular toner for this particular printer. I used to use Linkyo which I had on hand when I uninstalled this one. The printer will now print normally with Linkyo. I've had issues with Linkyo in the past with some smudges on the pages but that was nothing compared to what happened with this toner. (See photos. This material that looks like gray dust is the toner after the pages have been processed a few times. It didn't look like it at first.) DO NOT BUY!
