This item was well packaged and perfect as a gift. Holds a decent number of cards, but this should be a solution for a thin wallet. This is the first time I've had one of those wallets where you pull that tab and your cards pop out and I'm very happy with how it works. I didn't think it would work that well, but the cards slide in and out fairly easily, even after six cards have been placed. There are thumb cutouts on the external credit card slot as well as the driver's license slot, but I found them pretty useless as the cards don't grab my thumb to slide out. I was able to squeeze two cards into a slot in the wallet's internal slots. The money clip is removable if you want that option. Otherwise, it holds money securely and is spring loaded. The wallet is quite stiff, not sure if it will loosen up over time. Hopefully this will make it more comfortable in the front pocket. The overall look is elegant and it did the job.
