The wire with a fabric braid is soft and does not burst like plastic. Plastic is not rubbed, not cracked. Yes, it collects dirt, but this is such a minus. I cleaned it once a month and it's fine. Well, the SoftTouch coating has lost its appearance a little. Four years later there was a single breakdown. The left button began to issue a double click - a contact bounce. I opened it, soldered it in places with another, which is orange. All. It still works. I use daily.
