They do not fit directly, need to be cut

I use these to replace fog lights and they do not fit directly, I had to cut both sides of the base about 1/8 inch. In order for them to seat properly in the case I had to use a small cutting wheel (burr) to score them and they are not bright at all (my old bulbs are brighter than these). I'll just keep them for looks, but they're useless, I don't recommend them
