Smells funny. - Hair care

Smells almost old, but not quite. I don't know how to explain the smell with a review I can't even identify myself. So you know how to clean and tidy your vanity table or counter from time to time and put away that box or bag of beauty products you just made. not using much with intention to throw away or donate? Then life happens. You forget all that, and then six months later you stumble upon it and wonder why you got rid of "this", "this" or "that"? Open a half-used bottle of lotion to sniff it and instantly your favorite scent fills your olfactory glands and your heart smiles and then a stench, almost musty or just an "old" scent is slammed in your face? It's like it smells good, you know how the smell should be, you just know it's expired or something? Well, this one has the same smell but slightly different. The smell is pleasant, but at the same time not pleasant. I'm skeptical about using it. I asked my relatives what they thought of this scent before giving them my opinion and two of the three I asked had "hmmm" expressions on their faces. A third relative said it smelled like "flower patches". Well I personally have never come across a patch with a floral scent but I don't think it was a positive review. Hand as if it were highly moisturizing, and a large bag. But our senses are our body's first line of defense against anything that enters it, which I like to call filters. And I just can't let this product pass through my natural filters. Yes, based on the smell alone, this product is a no for me.

Pros
  • Not cheap, but decent
Cons
  • Nothing
